2. pch@ant.net to stop mail from Publisher’s Clearing House

3. 1-860-285-6100 to stop mail from ADVO (coupons,etc)

4. Send your name, address, zip code and a request to “activate the preference set up” to remove your name from the DMA list for 5 yrs (you can also do this online but there is $5 fee):

5. Cloudmark has software to help stop e-mail spam

Just as a testimonial, I did this and haven’t received any credit card offers and many fewer bulk mailings in general. Catalogs still have to be stopped individually.
